Day 4: New Creativity is Born

Drawing: Recently I've been drawing in this cool notebook I got from a dollar store. The drawings represent images form Scripture that have played a profound role in my life. I have found this to be a relaxing exercise and it has also given me permission to be brave in my persuits.

Dreaming: I entered "The Dreaming Room." I was introduced to this idea by a recent book I was listening to on my mp3 player called "Awakening the Entrepreneur Within" by Michael E Gerber. "The Dreaming Room" is this place where the entrepreneur is free to dream whatever dreams they want too achieve. It's not that every dream will be sought after but that there is full freedom to explore the terrain of ones desires and passions to see what could be.

I have felt a new sense of creativity born in me with this concept. I started to jot down ideas and concepts in my notebook and felt an infusion of creativity within me.

It was an awesome experience to just put my dreams at God's feet and allow them to breathe.

Fairy Tales: There is so much about my childhood that I can't remember. There are so many fairy tales I don't recall. I recently had a youth let me borrow a book called "A Treasury of Fairy Tales" because I had virtually no recollection of "Rumpelstiltskin" and she wanted to help me out. I work with children and I don't know Fairy Tales! This has gotta change! Time to fire up the imagination.
